A new report by the ESRI and Pobal, published on the UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities, explores the challenges experienced by disabled children in accessing early learning and care settings.
Using data from the Census of Population and Growing Up in Ireland (GUI) study, this report also examines the future needs and requirement of disabled children. DESSA welcomes the publication of this report as the experiences of disabled children and their access to inclusive opportunities and participation are often overlooked.
